N1 - Honey Bee and Thistle Signed Print
A Giclee print of a pencil and acrylic paint illustration. Bees are regular visitors to the wildflowers along the woodlines and trail throughout the five acres of woods where the Killustrated studio sits. Here a Honeybee (Apis mellifera), likely from a small farmer’s hives about 2 miles away, as the bee flies, explores the flower of a seven foot tall Bull Thistle (Cirsium vulgare). The plant was bent over by persistent wind and its own weight, putting the flower directly at eye level.
